The table is made of strong MDF (medium density fiber board) covered with a tough melamine mar resistant surface. Once projects are complete, the sewing table collapses flat so it may be stored under a bed, in a closet or stacked one on top of another. Table has locking steel legs which make the work surface and table very stable and sturdy; perfect for any working environment.
